Why Nushama for Ketamine Therapy

ERIC STONEBERG

Eric Stoneberg, LMSW

Integrationist

A trauma-informed psychedelic therapist living and working in the unceded lands of Lenapehoking, Eric draws on over two decades of experience as a seasoned yoga and meditation teacher in New York City and globally.

Having immersed deeply in the esoteric Goddess traditions of South India as well as with Indigenous wisdom-keepers of the Americas, Eric gratefully acknowledges those who have used psychedelic medicines for growth and healing since time immemorial. A scriptwriter for a variety of meditation apps, he skillfully guides others on a transformative journey within themselves.

He is committed to a holistic exploration of each person’s distinctive healing wisdom, empowering them to excavate, confront and integrate the core of their humanity. He strives to co-collaborate with clients, helping them lead lives filled with contentment, fulfillment, and joy as they harness the power of inner healing and self-discovery.

Eric is a proud Papa and Uncle—and has never not lived with a cat or two!

Kayla Ny

Integrationist

Kayla Chantelle Ny is a psychedelic facilitator and integration specialist at Nushama. Her path into this work has been shaped by over a decade of immersion in the healing arts, sacred plant medicine traditions, and contemplative practice. With roots in meditation and spiritual inquiry from a young age, Kayla brings a steady, grounded presence to her work that reflects a lifelong dedication to inner transformation.

She holds training from Naropa University’s psilocybin facilitator program and has worked in clinical ketamine settings, supporting individuals through depression, anxiety, trauma, and significant life transitions.

Kayla’s approach is trauma-informed, intuitive, and grounded in the belief that each person holds the innate capacity to heal from within. She creates spaces—both one-on-one and in groups—that invite authenticity, emotional insight, and nervous system safety. Her facilitation is rooted in deep listening, compassion, and a commitment to honoring each person’s unique path. She is devoted to helping people remember their wholeness, cultivate inner trust, and experience transformation rooted in love, sovereignty, and self-awareness.

In addition to her work in psychedelic care, Kayla is a filmmaker, and musician. During the war in Ukraine, she co-created a project that brought music, joy, and emotional relief to refugees at the Poland–Ukraine border and within Ukraine itself. Alongside fellow musicians, she performed for displaced families and collaborated with a circus troupe to uplift children through play and connection. Kayla also served as one of the project’s cinematographer’s, documenting the journey in a film that captures the healing power of joy and creative expression amid crisis.

Cat McCarthy

Integrationist

Having gone through her own health issues and healing process, Cat knows first-hand how much we hold past issues in our current tissues. Her experiences with psychedelic therapies have been transformative. Bearing witness to journey work at Nushama is a profound honor. She sits alongside as an attuned ally on this path of self-discovery.

An international yoga educator/trainer for over three decades, Cat respects a co-creative relational space in which to safely explore the heart-mind-body terrain. She is a certified Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner with her mentor Dr. Gabor Maté, whose guidance has enriched her life, along with her studies of Embodied Anatomy, Polyvagal Theory (PVT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). She is in private practice as a Trauma-informed Somatic Coach as well as a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) facilitator leading empathy trainings.

Originally from New Orleans, she is a podcaster and an Emmy-nominated Direct/Producer for Film/TV. Traveling for both work and play, Cat sings in a Britpop choir and enjoys learning how to put wisdom into action, as an agent for change.

Dr. Steven Radowitz, MD

Steven Radowitz, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Radowitz has a wealth of experience seeing the effects trauma can have on our physical health firsthand. He joined Nushama to oversee and develop treatment modalities, believing psychedelics are the future of mental wellness as current solutions treat symptoms, not underlying issues.

Dr. Radowitz also runs the primary care program at Goldman Sachs and has practiced internal medicine and primary care since 1998. Originally from Montreal, he completed his M.D. at Chicago Medical School. He worked at St. Vincent’s in general medicine and HIV/AIDS units and was Medical Director of the inpatient alcohol and opiate detox and treatment unit.

Dr. Radowitz’s focus is preventive medicine, getting to the underlying source before it manifests as “dis-ease,” a misalignment of mind, body, and spirit. He believes psychedelics are a powerful tool to discover the origin of imbalance. On a spiritual journey with Kabbalah, he also studies meditation and yoga. At Nushama, he leads one of the most experienced teams in psychedelic medicine.

Robert Glatter, MD

Dr. Robert Glatter, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, is an associate physician at Nushama Wellness. Dr. Glatter has an extensive background in the administration of ketamine over the past 20 years, having recently served as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at another ketamine practice. He also has a background in longevity medicine and is an expert in obesity management and nutrition.

After practicing Emergency Medicine for over 20 years, Dr. Glatter turned his focus to ketamine’s invaluable use for treatment of PTSD, Depression, and other mood disorders by guiding patients on journeys that are healing and enlightening. Partnering with patients, their psychiatrists and therapists, he and his team at Nushama Wellness design personalized journeys with licensed integration therapists to address individual symptoms. He also works with patients to identify specific intervals for booster infusions to optimize the effects of ketamine after completion of their foundational series of six infusions.

Mark Braunstein, DO

Dr. Mark A Braunstein answers the call to healing, medicine, and innovation through his work as a psychiatrist. Mark is a practicing child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. His skill sets are an amalgam of psychodynamic theory, traditional psychopharmacology, wilderness, cannabis, and psychedelic psychiatry. He earned his medical degree in 1997, completed a residency in general psychiatry and a fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry. After years of on-the-ground psychiatry work, Mark began to see the deficits present in contemporary models of treatment. The psychopharmacologic focus left patients fundamentally unchanged, dependent, and struggling with side effects. In 2002, with this knowledge in tow, Mark relocated to Colorado, intent on expanding his practice to include cannabis & wilderness therapy. Through his concurrent work in both fields, Mark has pioneered the practice of wilderness psychiatry & has kept an eclectic private practice for more than 20 years. He has been involved with psychedelics for more than 30 years and is now seen as a visionary in the space working on safely increasing access and efficacy. He studied ketamine assisted psychotherapy under his mentor Dr. Phil Wolfson and is now blessed to be able to teach alongside him.

In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a nursing educator, teaching in both psychiatric clinical settings and classroom environments. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of nurses with an emphasis on empathy, ethics, and evidence-based care.

A dedicated traveler, Jesse has visited 53 countries—a journey that has deeply shaped his cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse perspectives.
