Major depressive disorder, otherwise known as clinical depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest in daily activities. It affects how a person thinks, feels and behaves and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. Traditionally treated with medication or talk therapy, psychedelic therapy is more recently being used as an alternative treatment.
