The Benefits of Group Therapy
Set and setting affect the quality of your psychedelic experience enormously, and who you are going on your journey with is an important consideration. Psychedelics have a long history of being used in group settings, not just in a clinical context but in Indigenous cultures going back thousands of years.
Not only does psychedelic group therapy save time and money, but studies show that when people feel part of a community, it improves their psychological well-being and connectedness. Sharing your mystical journey with people going through something similar can be validating.
Retreat at Nushama
We are excited to announce an upcoming ketamine-assisted mindfulness retreat in partnership with Relationship Resources this April 2023 (exact dates below). This retreat will include a medical intake, two virtual sessions for preparation and integration, and an all-day in-person experience at Nushama, facilitated by a licensed and highly experienced professional staff.
The retreat’s format is tailored to those prepared to engage in a group setting and explore profound levels of personal growth. Group settings foster connections and allow us to recognize similar traumas in others and see paths forward to healing.
Both Nushama’s and Relationship Resources’ priority is safety. We believe people can attain maximum benefits from ketamine-assisted therapy in a secure and reliable environment. No experience with psychedelics or ketamine is required to apply for this program.
We will accept 8 participants for this retreat, who will be selected through an application process. You’ll participate in a 20-minute phone call with Relationship Resources to determine if you are a good fit for the program and a medical intake with Dr. Steven Radowitz, Chief Medical Officer at Nushama.
By integrating ketamine with mindfulness and meditation methods in a group environment, individuals can initiate their journey towards a more conscious and purposeful life. Our approach involves guided practices that enable people to tap into their inner wisdom. While ketamine serves as a tool, genuine personal development comes from within. We can all learn to cultivate present-moment awareness and extend kindness toward ourselves and others.
Retreat dates are Friday, April 21, Sunday, April 23, and Monday, April 24. For more information on this retreat and how to apply, visit Relationship Resources.
